L'AFFAIRE DU 3915
L'exposition collective L'affaire du 3915 a été créé in situ, dans un immeuble en voie de transformation à Montréal. Les deux curatrices, Christine Major et Claude Majeau, ont proposé aux artistes de réfléchir à la manière dont un lieu devient "chez soi".
L'exposition a été élaborée en écho au texte de Virginia Woolf, A Room for One's Own (1929).

Pour cette exposition, j'ai créé 2 dessins de grand format (encre sur papier) ajustés aux fenêtres de l'édifice investi et une vidéo (durée : 8'12"). Cette vidéo était projetée en boucle sur les 2 dessins et visible depuis la rue, aussi bien que depuis l'intérieur de l'espace d'exposition.
THE 3915 AFFAIR
The collective exhibition The 3915 Affair was created in situ, in a building undergoing transformation in Montreal.
The two curators, Christine Major and Claude Majeau, asked the artists to think about how a place becomes "home".
The exhibition was developed in response to Virginia Woolf's text, A Room for One's Own (1929).

For this exhibition, I created 2 large-format drawings (ink on paper) adjusted to the windows of the building occupied and a video (duration: 8'12").
This video was projected in a loop on the 2 drawings and visible from the street, as well as from inside the exhibition space.
